Students of the TH-425 group of the bachelor’s degree program in “Tourism” at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized an educational-practical visit to the “Meridian Plaza” hotel in Samarkand under the guidance of Dilrabo Mardonova, a lecturer of the “Tourism” department.
The main purpose of this visit, organized within the framework of the dual education system, was to combine students’ theoretical knowledge with real work processes. During the practice, students closely familiarized themselves with the hotel’s operations, the types of services provided to guests, the infrastructure, and the service processes.
In addition, students not only observed the activities of hotel staff but also directly participated in certain service processes, which allowed them to strengthen their practical skills. This educational-practical training became an important step in enhancing students’ professional preparation and understanding the real working environment of the hotel industry.
