On September 5, 2025, eco-active students from the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited their next destination — the Zarafshan National Nature Park.
This beautiful location is situated within the Jomboy and Bulungur districts of the Samarkand region and stretches 47 kilometers along the right bank of the Zarafshan River.
During the practical tour, the students not only enjoyed the natural beauty of the area but also explored unique sites of ecological, cultural, and aesthetic significance. In particular, the tugai (riparian) forests along the Zarafshan River left a strong impression on them.
The main purpose of the visit was to promote the preservation of natural resources, support the development of eco-tourism, and implement promising projects aimed at increasing the flow of tourists to the Zarafshan National Nature Park in the future.
