Special attention is being paid to ensuring that our university’s bachelor’s and master’s students strengthen their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of tourism, become closely acquainted with the activities of leading tourism companies and hotels with international prestige in Uzbekistan, and carry out scientific-research work related to their activities.
For this purpose, on November 27 of this year, a meeting was held with Natalia Grineva, the general manager of Mövenpick Samarkand Hotel, which is part of France’s Accor Hotels Group. Fifty master’s students took part in the event.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the work process and organizational aspects of the Mövenpick Samarkand Hotel, the provision of hotel services in the local and international markets, pricing policy, branding, and innovations applied in the workflow. The master’s students were given information about job opportunities at the hotel and prospects for conducting scientific research.
