On October 20, 2025, a distinguished guest lecture was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage by H.E. Chung Euiyong, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).The event was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan and was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, and representatives of the media.During his lecture, H.E. Chung Euiyong spoke about the Republic of Korea’s foreign policy strategy, regional cooperation, international diplomacy, and achievements in sustainable development. He also emphasized the importance of international collaboration in the context of globalization, encouraging young people to develop open-minded thinking and a diplomatic culture. Students had the opportunity to learn about Korea’s key factors in strengthening its international reputation, political stability, and economic growth experience. At the end of the event, the guest held a friendly dialogue with participants, answering students’ questions.This guest lecture marked an important step toward further strengthening the university’s international relations and expanding academic and cultural cooperation with the Republic of Korea.
