“Journey to the Heart of Eurasia” is a large-scale project that unites entrepreneurs, scientists, journalists, and bloggers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The expedition includes meetings, seminars, and cultural events aimed at strengthening business and humanitarian ties among the Central Eurasian countries.
On July 18, 2025, within the framework of the “Journey to the Heart of Eurasia – 2025” international expedition organized by the “International Center for Regional Integration”, a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Moscow, a scientific roundtable was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage on the topic: “The Unity of the Unique Modern Ethnic Cultures of Central Asian Peoples”.
The university’s faculty members—Muxsin Mikhaylovich Khidirov and Odiljon Fayzullaevich Boynazarov from the “History and Cultural Heritage” Department, and Botir Shermakhmatovich Rakhmatullaev from the “Tourism” Department—delivered presentations on the topics of caravanserais along the Silk Road in Central Asia, the cultural uniqueness and integration of Central Asian countries, and the contemporary ethno-cultural identity of the region.
