The collective monograph titled International Tourism: Problems and Prospects is a prestigious scientific work created within the framework of effective international cooperation between universities of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan. A total of 22 academic economists from 12 higher education institutions participated in this project, conducting an in-depth scientific analysis of current challenges and development prospects in the tourism sector.
The monograph comprehensively covers the current state of global tourism, post-pandemic recovery processes, scientific and theoretical foundations of sustainable tourism development, and practical recommendations for the effective organization of the sector. It scientifically substantiates the strategic importance of tourism for national economies, emphasizing that tourism is a significant source of income, particularly for countries rich in natural resources, unique cultural heritage, historical monuments, and innovative technologies.
