Preparations for the events within the framework of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be held in Samarkand, are underway with great activity. On this occasion, a seminar-training for volunteer interpreters was organized at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the seminar, students acquired essential skills for effective communication with foreign language-speaking guests, text translation, oral interpreting, understanding cultural differences, and preparing for the tasks expected at the conference. This preparation not only enhances their qualifications as interpreters but also helps university representatives to participate with dignity on the international stage, showcasing our country’s rich cultural heritage and hospitality on a global scale.
