On September 22–23, 2025, within the framework of the projects “Cheber: Skills Development in Kyrgyzstan” and “VET4UZ,” a delegation from Uzbekistan visited Bishkek. During the visit, official and informal exchanges of experience in vocational education and training took place.
The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education, the National Quality Assurance Agency, and several other institutions. Among them was J. Kholboyev, Head of the Department for Cooperation with Vocational Education Institutions at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, who familiarized himself with the latest changes in Kyrgyzstan’s vocational education and training system.
The meetings and discussions held during the visit not only served to strengthen cooperation between the two countries but also opened up broad opportunities for new joint initiatives and collaborative projects across Central Asia.
