In order to organize students’ free time meaningfully and to increase their interest in literature and reading, the ''Silk Road'' International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage held a literary and spiritual event.
At the literary evening titled “Let me be the guardian of a poetic, sensitive heart”, participants included the head of the Samarkand Regional Writers’ Union and poet Toshpo‘lat Tugalov, leading specialist of the Writers’ Union and poet Maxmarizo Abdurakhmonov, and the deputy head of the regional branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Abror Shakhlasov.
During the event, a sincere dialogue took place between the writers and the students. The students asked questions of interest to them and learned many details about the lives and creative work of the guests.
In addition, amateur student poets recited poems dedicated to the Motherland, peace, and tranquility.
The evening left unforgettable impressions on everyone and further deepened their love for literature and the art of words.
