In order to implement the tasks defined in the Presidential Decrees No. PQ-135 and PQ-269 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and to enhance the tourism potential of the regions, a roundtable discussion was held on August 14, 2025, at Polytechnic College No. 3 in accordance with the cooperation plan signed between the administration of Payariq district and the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The event, titled "The Role of Service Sectors and Foreign Languages in Increasing the Tourism Potential of Payariq District", was conducted by professors and lecturers from the Department of Languages and Global Studies of the university.
Teachers of the polytechnic college, community activists, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the tourism sector participated in the event. During the discussion, the importance of the service sector, dining establishments, guest houses, and tour guides was thoroughly covered. Legal advice was also provided on starting family businesses and LLCs.
Participants received detailed answers to their questions of interest.
