On February 17, 2026, a scientific-practical seminar and cultural event dedicated to the Chinese New Year was organized at our university at a high level. The event embodied the harmony of science and culture and served to further strengthen international cooperation.

The event began with a meeting with the university rector, Muhsinjon Xolmuhamedov. In his speech, the rector warmly welcomed the participants and congratulated Chinese professors, teachers, and students on the Chinese New Year. He also particularly emphasized the importance of developing international scientific cooperation, exchanging experience, and expanding joint projects in today’s era of globalization.

The main part of the seminar included a lecture session on the topic “Using International Scientific Databases and Publishing Scientific Articles.” During the session, detailed practical recommendations were provided on the effective use of platforms such as Springer Nature, Web of Science, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and Google Scholar, as well as on selecting scientific journals, formatting articles, and key stages of the publication process.

The training session was conducted via the Zoom platform by specialists from the Scientific and Technical Information Center under the Agency of Innovative Development. Professors, teachers, young researchers, and doctoral students actively participated in the event and received comprehensive answers to their questions.
