On October 14, 2025, at the UN Tourism Thematic Office, a scientific seminar was held under the Scientific Council DSc.33/01.02.2022.I.145.01 for awarding academic degrees in Economics at the ’’Silk Road’’ International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the seminar, two PhD candidates of the university, Mardonova Dilrabo Shirinboyevna and Toyirova Shohista Bobobekovna, presented and discussed their dissertations in the specialty 08.00.17 – “Tourism and Hotel Management.”
At the seminar, Mardonova Dilrabo Shirinboyevna presented her dissertation on “Improving the Mechanism for Enhancing the Efficiency and Quality of Services in the Hotel Business,” while Toyirova Shohista Bobobekovna presented her research on “Improving the Organizational and Economic Mechanisms for the Development of Ecological Tourism in Mountain and Foothill Areas.” They shared their research findings and results with the seminar members and attendees.
The presentations of the PhD candidates were positively received by the seminar participants, and the university’s professors and faculty members provided recommendations for further development of their future research.
