This program was initiated by Professor Zou Tongqian, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and is being implemented within the framework of an international cooperation agreement signed between the Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The ceremony was attended by BISU Vice-President Professor Cheng Wei, along with several professors and academic supervisors from both universities. They congratulated the doctoral students and shared their wishes and recommendations for enhancing academic potential through collaborative projects, joint research, and active participation in international educational programs.
During the ceremony, the main regulations of the doctoral program, key academic requirements, and opportunities for participating in international research projects and conferences were explained in detail.
The opening ceremony marked the official beginning of a new stage for PhD students. It was emphasized that the university provides broad opportunities to support scientific research, participate in international collaborative projects, and publish academic articles.
