Today, February 27th, an open and sincere dialogue took place at our university between the Rector and the students. The meeting was primarily attended by first-year students, their tutors (supervisors), and heads of relevant departments.
The Rector of the university, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, opened the meeting by first discussing the ideas put forward during the open dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with young people held at the Koksaroy residence on February 24th, as well as the vast opportunities being created for the youth.
The Rector reminded the students of the conditions during his own student years. At that time, there was a shortage of books and modern educational tools, and many talented young people were unable to enroll in universities. "We are all given the same 24 hours, but whoever can make the most of it will achieve great success," the Rector emphasized. He noted that today all conditions are created for young people, and now the main task is to make effective use of these opportunities.
The meeting was rich with free conversation between the Rector and students, sincere questions and answers, and interesting proposals and initiatives. Students put forward proposals regarding the establishment of a startup projects club and a career auditorium.
Rector Muhsinjon Murodullaevich expressed his readiness to support these initiatives. He also stressed that university graduates should not limit themselves to just obtaining a diploma but must possess at least one professional qualification and an international language certificate to be competitive in the modern labor market. In this regard, he informed the attendees about the established cooperation with prestigious American universities and the commencement of a number of practical works on studying business cases.
Overall, this meeting once again proved that the university team has set great goals for itself in preparing young people with deep knowledge and modern skills.
