November 18, 1991, is a sacred date — the day when the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted.
On this occasion, students of the ''Silk Road'' International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage actively took part in the “Flag Relay” event held under the slogan “The Homeland Flag is Sacred”, which took place from Registan Square to Ko‘ksaroy Square in Samarkand.
This event further strengthened feelings of love for the Motherland, national pride, and devotion to the country. Each student, while carrying the flag, expressed their dedication, pride, and deep affection for their homeland.
Our flag is our pride, our country is our honor!
