On April 11, 2025, Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage had the honor of hosting Mr. Alan Elliott, a globally recognized expert in travel marketing and tourism innovation. Mr. Elliott, founder of Myriad and The Sigmund Project, brings decades of experience in promoting global tourism through innovative strategies.
During his visit, Mr. Elliott met with the university's leadership to explore collaborative opportunities between the Silk Road University and Webster University, particularly in joint academic and research initiatives. Discussions also focused on supporting students' start-up projects in tourism and enhancing their participation in international platforms.
Both parties emphasized the importance of cooperation in global tourism development, innovation, and academic exchange. Mr. Elliott expressed strong interest in working together on joint international projects aimed at empowering youth and fostering innovation in the tourism sector.
