On October 15, 2025, the representatives of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage took part in the 8th General Assembly of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKÜNİB) held in Tashkent under the motto “There is no salvation other than knowledge.”
This event was organized in cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and Tashkent International University (TIU) of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by the heads of the OTS Secretariat, rectors of more than 100 member universities of TURKÜNİB, scientific centers, international organizations, and prominent scholars.
Within the framework of the event, issues aimed at increasing the prestige of our country in the Turkic world, expanding cooperation in the field of higher education, and contributing to the development of science were discussed.
