A delegation led by Li Biyou, Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing International Studies University (BISU), visited our university.
The delegation was welcomed by the university administration. During the meeting, the parties had an in-depth discussion on jointly establishing the “Silk Road Tourism Studies Journal,” creating a Smart Tourism Laboratory, and sending Chinese language instructors within the framework of academic cooperation. The Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. T. Zou, and other officials attended the meeting.
In addition, Li Biyou visited the UNWTO Samarkand Tourism Academy and the “Shandong Window” exhibition area. During the visit, Vice-Rector T. Zou provided information about the university’s development process and spoke about the results of international cooperation between BISU and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The guest highly appreciated the outcomes of the collaboration and met with 13 BISU master’s and doctoral students currently studying at our university.
