On the occasion of Samarkand City Day, a festive event was organized at our university on October 18. Professors, teachers, students, and guests participated in the celebration.
At the beginning of the event, participants were given extensive information about the rich history, unique cultural heritage, and modern development of Samarkand. In addition, students presented stage performances, poems, and songs that vividly expressed the unmatched beauty of Samarkand and its important place in the history of our country.
During the event, discussions were also held about Samarkand’s role not only as a historical city but also as a cultural and scientific center, as well as the great scholars who emerged from this city and their scholarly legacy.
The festive atmosphere of the event evoked feelings of love and pride for the Motherland, especially for the city of Samarkand, among all participants.
At the end of the event, active students and initiators were awarded certificates and souvenirs by the university administration.
