On November 6–7, in honor of Trade Unions Day on November 11, the primary organization of the trade union at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized sports competitions among professors, teachers, and staff under the motto “120 Years of Trade Unions Together with the People.”

The competitions were held to strengthen team spirit, promote a healthy lifestyle, and provide meaningful leisure activities for the university community.

The teams that actively participated in the sports competitions competed in the final stage and achieved the following results:

3rd place — Digital Education Technologies Center (DETC) Team

Chess (Women):
1st place — Rakhimova Nilufar

Chess (Men):
1st place — Kulmuratov Sanjar

Table Tennis (Men):
1st place — Farmonov Bunyod

Tennis (Women):
1st place — Nurullayeva Maftuna

At the closing ceremony, the winning and runner-up teams were awarded certificates and valuable prizes.

At the end of the event, the chairperson of the primary trade union organization expressed gratitude to all participants and emphasized that such sports competitions would continue to be held regularly in the future.
