On February 27, 2026, a seminar was organized at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for a group of students who have startup projects at the university.
During the event, E. Danaboyev, Chief Specialist of the Samarkand Regional Department of Innovative Development, provided students with information on the “Innovative ecosystem, support of startup projects, and the procedure for transforming startups into prototypes.” In addition, students received detailed insights into startup incubation and acceleration programs.
The Rector of the university, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, also took part in the seminar and emphasized that all startup projects created at the university would receive comprehensive support and practical efforts in this area would be further intensified.
At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to two students who had actively participated in competitions as candidates for state scholarships established for talented students.
