On the occasion of May 9 — the Day of Memory and Appreciation, a group of active students led by the Youth Leader of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited Victory Park in Tashkent.
During the visit, the students closely familiarized with the exhibitions reflecting the bravery of our ancestors on the battlefield and the home front during the years of the Second World War. They also received detailed information about the difficult life paths of war and labor veterans, who became examples of courage and selflessness.
The visit was organized to pay deep respect to the memory of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the peace of our people, today’s peaceful life, and a prosperous future. It also aimed to strengthen in the hearts of the younger generation the feelings of patriotism, national pride, and devotion to historical memory.
