As part of the implementation of Presidential Decree PQ-135 dated April 26, 2023, and with the aim of familiarizing students with the lifestyle of tourism villages, a group of active local and international students from our university took part in an educational trip to the Tersak tourism village located in the Urgut district.
At the beginning of the visit, organizers provided students with information about the history of Tersak village and the main criteria used to attract tourists. The one-day program in Tersak tourism village offered both local and international students an opportunity to closely observe and experience rural life.
Students started their morning with traditional cream and honey tea, baked bread in a tandir oven, and prepared national dishes together with local women. Gathering around a table under the open sky, they experienced the authentic atmosphere of village life.
Such projects not only broaden students’ understanding of tourism villages, but also play an important role in promoting the tourism potential of Tersak tourism village in Urgut district.
