On April 26, another mass running marathon was held on the territory of the Imam Al-Bukhari Complex under the slogans “Silk Road Samarkand,” “Talaba-Yugur,” and “For Human.”
The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports, the Athletics Federation, the Central Asian Walking and Running Academy, and the Student Sports Association. The main goal of the competition was to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and encourage their regular participation in sports activities.
Students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage also actively participated in the “Talaba-Yugur” volunteer running competition.
Notably, the competition played an important role not only in increasing students’ interest in a healthy lifestyle but also in identifying talented athletes among them.
