Representatives from the Tourism Committee and staff from our university visited Beijing International Studies University (BISU) in Beijing, China, to study the digitalization of the tourism sector. During the visit, they participated in a presentation on the "Tourism Big Data Platform" conducted by laboratory specialists at BISU.
The platform operates based on over 300 indicators and 140 indexes, providing the capability to analyze tourism flows, hotel occupancy rates, sources of tourists, and their expenditures. Proposals were made to implement a pilot project for Uzbekistan.
