Within the framework of the 4th International Sculpture Symposium “Samarkand – 2025,” skilled sculptors who arrived from different parts of the world demonstrated their unique mastery and creative approaches. Renowned artists from nearly ten countries brought granite stones to life based on 12 original ideas, literally creating true masterpieces.
Today, on December 5, an exhibition consisting of these works of art created by the sculptors was organized. During the event, the officials who took the floor highly praised the works and especially emphasized the invaluable role of such initiatives in protecting the environment, enhancing the city’s aesthetics, and increasing tourism potential.
The participation of our university students in the symposium process was also noteworthy. They closely observed the sculptural works displayed at the exhibition and became acquainted with the artists’ mastery and conceptual explorations.
At the end of the event, all sculptors were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts. This symposium, rich in the spirit of sincerity, creativity, and friendship, became another bright page in the cultural life of Samarkand.
