On February 12, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on this matter.
According to the plan, the following measures are envisaged:
Establishment of a National Restoration Institute;
Restoration of the Bibikhanym Mosque in the city of Samarkand and renovation of the “Turkiston” summer amphitheater, with design and restoration works to be carried out in full coordination with UNESCO;
Relocation of Uzbekistan’s national pavilion from EXPO-2025 to a creative park in Nukus, along with the construction of a modern library nearby;
Establishment of a Higher School of Traditional Arts in Tashkent based on the experience of the Royal Foundation School of the United Kingdom. Education will be conducted in English, and specialists will be trained under a two-year program. It is planned to train 50 specialists in 2027 and reach an annual capacity of 80 specialists by 2031.
