The year 2025 has marked significant achievements in the field of scientific and international cooperation for the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage! Our university is actively participating in the DIANA (Developing Inclusive and Attractive Nature-based Agritourism) project within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ CBHE program, becoming one of the key coordination centers of this international initiative.
The DIANA project is a large-scale international collaboration aimed at developing rural tourism, creating new job opportunities, and ensuring sustainable economic growth in Central Asia, particularly in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This project not only contributes to improving the quality of education but also plays a crucial role in elevating the region’s tourism potential to a new level.
Project Goal and Essence:
The DIANA project focuses on promoting environmentally friendly, sustainable, and culturally rich forms of tourism in rural areas. The project involves enhancing educational programs and preparing tourism professionals with modern knowledge and skills. Special emphasis is placed on developing tourism infrastructure and strengthening the entrepreneurial environment.
