The Effectiveness of Tutors’ Activities Reviewed

On the occasion of the completion of the 2025/2026 academic year, annual reports of group tutors were presented at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”. During the reporting meeting, the tutors’ educational, spiritual-enlightenment, and organizational activities carried out with students were comprehensively analyzed.

It should be noted that today the tutor institution occupies an important place in the higher education system not only in ensuring students’ academic development but also in fostering their personal growth, social activity, and spiritual outlook. Therefore, during the reports, each tutor’s work throughout the academic year, achieved results, and future plans were reviewed in detail.

The reports particularly highlighted the work carried out in monitoring student attendance, supervising academic performance, supporting students in need of social protection, ensuring youth employment, organizing students’ free time in a meaningful way, promoting reading culture, and increasing their participation in sports and cultural-educational events.

In addition, views were exchanged on the effectiveness of activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, fostering patriotism, respect for the law, an uncompromising attitude toward corruption, and strengthening ideological immunity in the information space.

During the meeting, the University administration gave an objective assessment of the tutors’ activities, noting existing achievements as well as the need to further improve work in certain areas. Important tasks were identified for the next academic year, including strengthening individual work with students, making effective use of digital technologies, and further developing the system of working with gifted students and those in need of social protection.

At the end of the meeting, gratitude was expressed to the group tutors who had carried out their duties with responsibility and dedication throughout the year, and they were wished success in their future work.

Reviewing the annual reports of tutors is of great importance in improving the quality of the educational process, promoting best practices, and taking the student support system to a new level. This, in turn, serves to further improve the quality of education and train well-rounded, proactive, and competitive specialists.
