The first seminar of the “Women's Council of Scientists in STEAM” was organized at the university at the initiative of the Department of Scientific Research. This council is a council that unites female scientists, researchers and innovators working in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (i.e. STEAM).
The main goal of the council is to increase scientific potential, attract young girls to the field of science, and develop and support innovative ideas. Through this, it aims not only to increase the effectiveness of scientific research, but also to encourage women to actively participate in modern technologies and creative industries.
During the event, Nargiza Mansurova, Head of the University's Department of Scientific Research, was elected as the Chairperson of the Council. At the meeting, N. Mansurova provided detailed information to the participants about the goals and objectives of the council, areas of activity, as well as future projects and expected results.
Within the framework of the seminar, the participants discussed the opportunities for scientific cooperation, the role of women in STEAM fields and increasing their social and innovative activity in society. At the end of the event, proposals were put forward to effectively organize the activities of the council, create a mentoring system for young scientists, and expand international scientific cooperation.
