Due to the growing interest of students living in remote areas in the fields of tourism and cultural heritage, the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” organized meetings in general education schools of Bulungur district of Samarkand region according to the schedule, with the participation of the Admission and Marketing Department, heads of departments, and a group of professors and teachers.
Special transport was allocated for students living in remote locations, they were invited to the university, and detailed information was provided about the activities, opportunities, and conditions created at the educational institution.
During the meeting, the conveniences introduced for applicants — the online registration system, the opportunity to choose up to 5 bachelor's degree programs based on test results, existing forms of education, and the advantages of the modern educational environment — were thoroughly explained. In addition, detailed information was also provided about types of “education loans” intended for students studying on a contract basis, the education grants program, and other financial support mechanisms.
These meetings played an important role in motivating students to consciously choose their future profession and to pursue education in promising fields such as tourism and cultural heritage.
