Today, February 26, university rector Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov held a sincere dialogue with student youth residing in the Student Dormitory.
During the meeting, the rector focused on the dialogue held by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with young people at the Ko‘ksaroy qarorgohi, as well as on the urgent issues raised there. In particular, he spoke about the declaration by the Head of State of every Thursday as “Youth Day” and about implementing practical initiatives aimed at comprehensive support for young people into the lives of our university students.
During the meeting held in the Student Dormitory, he closely inquired about the dreams and aspirations of student youth, their daily lifestyle and achievements in education. Currently, the “Zakovat” intellectual club, a mini football stadium organized for boys, and the “Mohir qo‘llar” (Skilled Hands) club are operating in the Student Dormitory. In order to further expand the activities of such clubs, the rector determined that, at the first stage, table tennis and badminton courts would be established for students.
For information, nearly 400 local and international students currently reside in the university Student Dormitory. All necessary conditions have been created for them. A dining hall, a spirituality hall and modern household appliances are ready for students’ use. During the visit, the rector also inspected the students’ recreation rooms.
During the meeting held in a sincere atmosphere, it was stated that the proposals and initiatives expressed by students would be continuously supported and that the necessary conditions and opportunities would be created.
