Within the framework of the “Rector Olympiad” dedicated to the results of the 2025–2026 academic year, a Tourism Subject Olympiad was organized at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”.

The Olympiad was held in the form of a test on May 21–22, 2026, in computer rooms 121 and 122 of the university. A total of 90 students registered to participate in this subject Olympiad.

The main purpose of the Olympiad was to assess students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of tourism, analytical thinking skills, professional competencies, and independent thinking potential.

In order to ensure the transparency, fairness, and organizational discipline of the test process, commission/supervisory members were assigned for both days. On May 21, the process was supervised by Dilorabo Mardonova, Muslima Amiriddinova, and Sardor Kuvandikov, while on May 22 it was supervised by Charos Maxmadiyeva, Erkin G‘ulomxasanov, and Mahliyo Umarova.

According to the results of the Tourism Subject Olympiad, the following students were recognized as winners:

1st place: Sadikova Amina — student of group BM-124, 88 points;
2nd place: Abdurakhmonov Odilbek — student of group TH-525, 86 points;
3rd place: Muhammadiyev Aliyor — student of group TH-324, 84 points.

It is planned to prepare relevant proposals for encouraging the Olympiad winners in accordance with the established procedure. This event serves to improve the quality of education at the university, strengthen students’ knowledge in practical terms, and train competitive specialists in the field of tourism.
