A head of the 6th FIDE World Chess Olympiad to be held in the city of Samarkand, a professional development training seminar was organized for hotel staff on August 24–25 at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The main objective of the seminar is to enhance service quality, develop effective communication skills with foreign guests, and implement modern hospitality standards into practice.

Front office staff, managers, administrators, guides, excursion leaders, and guest relations specialists from Samarkand hotels are participating in the training.

This initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Tourism Department of Samarqand Region.
