UI GreenMetric 2025: “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in the international ranking
On December 5, 2025, in the Republic of Taiwan, the official results of the UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking, considered one of the world’s most prestigious “Green Universities” rankings, were announced.
In this ranking, a total of 1,745 universities from 105 countries were evaluated this year. Higher education institutions of Uzbekistan also actively participated in the ranking and achieved worthy results.
It is pleasing to note that the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage also participated in the UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking and ranked 1013th globally. This result is considered the outcome of systematic efforts carried out at the university in the areas of ensuring environmental sustainability, rational use of resources, implementation of “green campus” principles, and environmental protection.
