National Employer Survey: Practical Research Conducted in Samarkand Region

Practical research within the framework of the survey aimed at assessing the quality of education and determining the competitiveness of graduates in the labour market is being regularly conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. The next stage of the research was organized in the Samarkand region in cooperation with representatives of the Agency and the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The study covered major organizations and enterprises in the region that employ graduates.

As part of the research, visits were organized to Samarkand International Airport, the Samarkand Tourism Center, and the Registan complex. Interviews were held with employers working at these institutions and organizations to collect their opinions and assessments regarding the professional training of graduates of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, their practical skills, ability to adapt to professional activities, and suitability for their current positions.

Particular attention was also paid to employers’ suggestions and recommendations concerning graduates’ professional and practical competencies, their performance indicators, and their ability to adapt to the requirements of modern workplaces.

The data collected through the survey will serve as an important basis for assessing whether educational programmes meet labour market requirements, identifying areas for improving graduates’ professional training, and developing evidence-based recommendations for enhancing the quality of education.

The National Employer Survey is designed to systematically identify the actual needs and requirements of employers, strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and the labour market, and improve approaches to aligning educational content with current professional requirements.

The opinions and feedback collected during the research in the Samarkand region will be analyzed and taken into account when compiling the final survey results. The regular research conducted by the Agency contributes to improving the quality of education and strengthening the competitiveness of graduates in the labour market.
