📅 On August 19, 2026, professors and teachers of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage — Sanjar Jumanazarov, Madina Yakubova, and Gulrukh Yusupova — participated in the FEP Alumni Conference, organized in Tashkent by American Councils and the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan.

🎓 The event brought together teachers from higher education institutions who participated in the Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) in different years. Within the framework of this program, Uzbek educators had the opportunity to improve their professional skills for one semester at leading universities in the United States, learn modern teaching methods, and exchange experience with their American colleagues.

🌎 During the conference, FEP alumni presented the knowledge and skills they acquired in the United States, as well as their practical experiences in adapting them to Uzbekistan’s education system. In addition, a professor from one of the colleges in the state of Georgia conducted a lecture and a practical master class.

🏅 At the end of the event, Jonathan Henick, U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan, presented certificates to the participants.

🌐 The participation of university representatives in such international events contributes to their professional development, the exchange of best practices, and the introduction of modern pedagogical approaches into the educational process.
