The university rector conducted an "Independence Lesson" for schoolchildren on the historical significance of the nation's independence
Samarkand, September 2. On the occasion of Knowledge Day, Mukhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, visited Public School No. 13 in the city of Samarkand. He met with the school pupils and conducted an "Independence Lesson" for them.
During the lesson, the rector touched upon topics such as the historical significance of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the reforms being implemented in the education and tourism sectors in our country, the wide opportunities created for youth, love and devotion to the Motherland, the importance of gaining knowledge, and responsibility for the future.
During the meeting, which took place in the form of a sincere dialogue, the pupils received answers to the questions that interested them. The rector urged the young generation to acquire thorough knowledge, master modern skills, and make a worthy contribution to the country's future development. At the end of the lesson, the rector presented the pupils with books on various topics as gifts.
