A Pleasant Getaway for University Staff

The Trade Union of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized a trip for university staff to the newly opened “Edelweiss Resort” recreation facility in the Mironkul area of Samarkand District. The initiative aimed to provide employees with meaningful leisure time, cultural recreation, and an opportunity to further strengthen team spirit.

Located in Mironkul village of Samarkand District, the resort is one of the region’s new tourism facilities and demonstrates the growing potential of the Ohalik–Oqboyro–Mironkul tourist and recreational zone.

During the visit, university staff enjoyed spending time in nature, taking a break from their daily work routine, communicating with colleagues in a friendly atmosphere, and enjoying recreational activities together.

The fresh mountain air, picturesque foothill scenery, and comfortable recreational facilities helped improve the staff’s mood, providing them with renewed energy and positive impressions.

Such activities not only provide employees with meaningful leisure opportunities but also contribute to building a friendly and healthy working environment, strengthening team unity, and maintaining positive motivation in the workplace.

The trip was also significant as it provided an opportunity to explore new tourism destinations in Samarkand and become familiar with the region’s tourism and recreational potential. This is particularly important for the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, whose activities are closely connected with the tourism industry.

Such initiatives organized by the Trade Union are aimed not only at supporting employees’ professional activities but also at promoting meaningful leisure time and social engagement.

Similar initiatives will continue in the future, contributing to the organization of more cultural, educational, sports, and recreational activities for the university community.
