Muhammad Safarov and Salohiddin Nuridinov, specialists at the Center for Digital Educational Technologies and Distance Learning of our university, are taking part in an international professional development program organized in China.

On September 13, 2026, the program themed "Developing Educational Leadership in Central Asia through AI Technologies and Cooperation with the Digital Education Industry" commenced its work at Northwest Normal University in Gansu Province. It is being attended by 27 representatives from educational management bodies and higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Within the framework of the program, lectures and practical sessions are being organized on topics such as the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the education system, educational digitization strategies, the application of AI technologies in higher education, the development of "smart campuses," and enhancing the digital competencies of educators.

Additionally, participants are becoming acquainted with the activities of leading Chinese higher education and research institutions, technological centers, and cultural sites.

In particular, visits are planned to relevant educational and research centers under Northwest Normal University, the national virtual simulation experiment center, Lanzhou Resources and Environment Voc-Tech University, the "Silk Road Information Port" company, the Dunhuang Art Museum, the Gansu Provincial Museum, and the Gansu Bamboo and Wooden Slips Museum.
