On October 15, 2026, a roundtable discussion titled “Negative Consequences of Early Marriage and Consanguineous Marriage” was organized at our university to prepare youth for family life, promote a healthy lifestyle among female students, and raise family responsibility.

This event was conducted in cooperation with the university and the regional perinatal center. During the discussion, it was emphasized that the family is a sacred institution, highlighting the importance of mutual respect, responsibility, spiritual maturity, and a healthy lifestyle in forming a strong family. It was also stressed that protecting children's health and raising a healthy and well-rounded generation is one of the crucial duties of every family.

During the event, specialists provided explanations on reproductive health, as well as the impact of early marriage on young people's physical and mental health and their education.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of young people being prepared for family life, making conscious life decisions, and taking responsibility for their future.

In addition, detailed information was presented regarding the prevention of marriages between close relatives, the risks of certain genetic diseases resulting from consanguineous marriages, and the essential role of pre-marital medical checkups.
