On August 16–22, 2026, the first international summer school on the topic “Educational Tourism – New Knowledge, New Impressions” was organized at our university for international students. The summer school was attended by 17 students from China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan.

During the program, the participants attended lectures in the fields of cultural heritage, gastronomic tourism, ecotourism, and tourism management, became closely acquainted with the activities of the university, and gained new knowledge and experience.

The participants became closely acquainted with the centuries-old history of the city, its national traditions, and its unique cultural heritage. In addition, a master class on preparing traditional Uzbek dishes was organized for the international students, where the traditions of hospitality and the distinctive features of our national cuisine were demonstrated.

At the end of the program, all participants were presented with certificates for their successful participation in the summer school.
