On August 27, an educational seminar entitled "Independence Hour," dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The event was attended by the university rector M. Kholmukhamedov, vice-rectors of the field, heads of departments, the dean of the faculty, and professors and teachers.

During the seminar, views were exchanged on the path of development traversed by Uzbekistan during the years of independence, the wide-ranging reforms implemented, and the important results achieved.

During the dialogue, discussions focused on the development of the tourism sector, the ongoing work regarding the effective utilization of Uzbekistan's rich historical and cultural heritage and tourism potential, as well as the steadily growing prestige of our country in the international tourism arena.

The event also emphasized the important role of higher education institutions in preparing qualified specialists for the field of tourism and cultural heritage, developing the potential of youth, and promoting Uzbekistan's tourism capabilities on an international scale.
