Today, September 7, Orientation Week events dedicated to the start of the 2026–2027 academic year were held at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. This important event opened the door to a new stage for first-year students, introducing them to the first steps of student life. The event began with a welcoming speech by the university rector, Mukhsinjon Kholmukhamedov. In his speech, the rector warmly congratulated all the young people on becoming first-year students of the higher educational institution, emphasizing that student life is one of the most unforgettable and, at the same time, responsible periods in a person's life. He urged the youth to constantly search, strive for knowledge, and become mature specialists in their profession. Additionally, members of the university leadership were introduced one by one at the event, providing detailed information about the main aspects to focus on during the educational process, as well as the duties and opportunities of students. Another memorable moment of the event was the presentation of certificates to talented students who were recommended for admission to the university with the highest scores on the entrance exams. During the event, 1st-year students had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the activities of the university.
