Staff members of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage participated in a training programme at Portucalense University in Portugal as part of the Erasmus+ DIANA international project, “Empowering Women through the Development and Implementation of Rural Tourism Entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.”

During the international training programme, participants attended workshops and training sessions focused on two key areas:

— “Strategic Communication, Networking and Partnership Building for Rural Tourism Development”;
— “Project-Based Learning and Design Thinking in Entrepreneurship Education.”

The training sessions placed particular emphasis on developing strategic communication skills, establishing effective partnerships and professional networks, and integrating innovative pedagogical approaches based on project-based learning and design thinking into the educational process.

As a partner institution of the Erasmus+ DIANA international project, the University’s participation in such training programmes contributes to the integration of advanced European practices into its activities and the further expansion of international cooperation.
