In order to familiarize themselves with the living conditions of female students and to learn the opinions of homeowners about the students, on October 6, 2025, M. Abbasova, Chairwoman of the Women's Council of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, psychologist D. Turdiyeva, and first-year tutor Sh. Nurmatov organized another visit to the residences of female students living in rented housing.
This time, they visited the rental residence of student Z. Hamidullaeva in the city of Samarkand to observe her living conditions more closely. The responsible staff not only spoke with the student but also gathered information about the presence of surveillance cameras in the neighborhood, the awareness of local community leaders regarding homeowners, as well as available opportunities and existing challenges.
They thoroughly examined whether the rented residences meet fire safety and other technical safety requirements. In addition, a conversation was held regarding the students’ psychological well-being.
University representatives emphasized that students will continue to receive regular support, and they conducted awareness-raising discussions on preventing legal violations, adhering to hygiene standards, maintaining discipline, and especially avoiding going outside after 9:00 PM.
Visits to the residences of students living in rented homes are ongoing.
