As part of the “Future Column” initiative, an educational session on the topic “We Are Against Violence” was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The event was actively attended by the university inspector Sh. Qurbonov, the Chairwoman of the Women’s Council M. Abbasova, tutors Sh. Nurmatov and G. Mirzakobilova, as well as D. Ma’rupova, a lecturer at the Department of “Written and Oral Research”.
During the session, important ideas were shared aimed at combating violence among students, strengthening compassion, and reinforcing the principles of mutual respect. Participants deeply reflected on the negative impact of violence on human life, social stability, and mental well-being.
The meeting continued in the format of a round-table discussion, where students were provided with valuable recommendations on the types of violence and their consequences, peaceful ways of resolving conflicts, as well as the importance of fostering a culture of mutual respect and empathy. The session contributed to strengthening the values of tolerance, peacefulness, and humanity in the minds of young people.
