On December 16, 2025, within the framework of the student forum held under the theme “Modern Approaches in Sustainable Development of Tourism and Cultural Heritage,” the Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Muslima Amiriddinova, organized a discussion panel with the participation of master’s degree students based on the section “Smart Destination Development: Innovations in Smart Tourism and Digital Integration.”
During the panel, the essence and significance of the smart tourism concept, the effective integration of digital technologies into the tourism sector, the role of innovative approaches in the development of sustainable tourism, as well as the use of modern information and communication technologies in the management of cultural heritage sites were widely discussed.
In the course of the discussion, master’s students actively participated by sharing their scientific views, proposals, and reflections, exchanging opinions on practical examples and advanced international experience. The event was organized in an interactive format, and well-grounded and detailed answers were provided to the questions raised by the students.
