On February 11, 2026, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Central Asian International Forum of Women Scientists “SheSCIENCE 2026” was held in Tashkent. The forum was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Makhkamova, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongirotboy Sharipov, and President of the Academy of Sciences Shavkat Ayupov.
The event brought together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, scientific institutions, and the higher education system, as well as about 200 women scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. N. Mansurova, Head of the Scientific Research Department of our university, participated in this forum.
Within the framework of the forum, key topics such as women's participation in science and innovation, regional and global cooperation, sustainable development, ecology, medicine, engineering, digital technologies, and biotechnology were discussed.
