Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management
The educational activity of the college has a centuries-long history: since 1920 — as the Factory-Plant School; since 1979 — Tashkent Industrial School; since 1987 — Vocational-Technical School No. 34; since 1997 — Business School No. 5; since 2004 — Hamza Vocational College of Consumer Services; since 2010 — Tashkent Vocational College of Hotel Management.
The Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management was established on September 3, 2020, under Decree No. PF-5812 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 23, 2025, No. PF-190, "On Measures to Improve Management Efficiency in the Vocational Education System," and with the aim of ensuring institutional integrity in the field of vocational education, improving the efficiency of the management system, introducing international educational programs, and reforming the system for training competitive mid-level personnel that meet the requirements of the domestic and foreign labor markets, the Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management, along with all technical colleges, was reorganized through transfer to the system of the Vocational Education Agency.
The Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management is one of the largest educational institutions in Tashkent and has the capacity to admit applicants from Tashkent city, other regions of the republic, as well as foreign citizens from neighboring countries — Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan.
The college trains mid-level professional personnel for the service sector, corresponding to levels 3, 4, and 5 of the international classifier, through full-time and dual education in Uzbek and Russian, on the basis of state grants and paid contracts, supplying the labor market with specialists.
Classes at the college are conducted by highly qualified teachers and industrial training instructors, as well as experienced workers from tourism and service enterprises. The educational process actively employs the latest pedagogical and interactive technologies (trainings, business games, round-table discussions, situational modeling, master classes, and others).
At the Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management, graduates of grades 9 and 11 are trained as specialists — under the full-time and dual education system, at levels 3, 4, and 5 of the international classifier — in the fields of "Tourism," "Organization and Management of Hotel Business," "Organization of Catering Services," "Hairdresser-Stylist," and "Accounting."

The Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management is a modern educational institution that trains qualified and competitive specialists for the service sector, with an activity history spanning many years and rich experience. The institution began its activity in 1920 as the Factory-Plant School, later operating as the Tashkent Industrial School, Vocational-Technical School No. 34, Business School No. 5, the Hamza Vocational College of Consumer Services, and the Tashkent Vocational College of Hotel Management.
On September 3, 2020, under Decree No. PF-5812 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent College of Tourism and Hotel Management was established under the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. In accordance with Decree No. PF-190 of 2025, the college was transferred to the system of the Vocational Education Agency, further improving its activities in introducing international educational programs and training mid-level personnel that meet labor market requirements.
Today, 721 students are studying at the college. For graduates of grades 9 and 11, education is provided in Uzbek and Russian, under the full-time and dual education system, in the fields of "Tourism," "Organization and Management of Hotel Business," "Organization of Catering Services," "Hairdresser-Stylist," and "Accounting."
The college has widely implemented a dual education system, with cooperation established with more than 30 major employer enterprises. Students undergo practical training and industrial internships at hotels, restaurants, and tourism organizations. Effective cooperation has been established with leading enterprises such as InterContinental Tashkent, Radisson Blu, Crowne Plaza, Mercure Tashkent, Bellissimo Pizza International, and the AB Group restaurant holding.
In addition, the college actively participates in international projects with Switzerland, Germany, and Turblock_key, creating opportunities for students to undertake internships abroad and participate in international programs. Modern, well-equipped practice rooms, a library with a collection of more than 10,000 items, a strong practical training base, and international cooperation are among the college's main advantages.

Students of the college have the opportunity to undergo industrial and pre-diploma internships at the most prestigious, leading hotels, tourism organizations, and catering enterprises located in Tashkent. In addition, they can undertake international internships at hotels in Germany, Turblock_key, and Bulgaria, and obtain international certificates.

There are 5 modern, well-equipped training and practice rooms, lecture halls and auditoriums, as well as a large library collection containing more than 10,000 volumes of educational and methodological literature, which students may use outside of class hours as well.

In their free time, students have excellent opportunities to engage in sports in the gym, or to play football, basketball, and volleyball at the stadium.
The college's international partners include leading educational institutions of Switzerland, the Russian Federation, Germany, Korea, Turblock_key, Kazakhstan, India, and Bulgaria.
Since 2020, the college's students have actively participated in the "WorldSkills Uzbekistan" international competition for young specialists.
